ENGINEERING/VEHICLE DESIGN
Rapid prototyping is the name of the game and getting new designs to market before the competition, is the goal. When asked, we need a 2000 lb. vehicle that will go 0-60 in 5.2 seconds with a top speed of 160 and fuel economy of 20 mpg that will hold ground on a 60 foot radius, 5 degree banked curve at 80MPH, designers can quickly produce a working model in Rapid Line Software and know whether or not the request is feasible. Designers can then use Rapid Line Software for the next step, hard parts design engine development, suspension, etc. CAD operators can interact results from Rapid Line Software for manufacturing drawings. Some of our current manufacturing users include GM, Honda R & D and Chrysler.
EDUCATION
Rapid Line Software's use as a teaching tool is extraordinary, and is being used by universities worldwide, including Missouri University of Science & Technology, Birmingham, Calgary, Florida State, Clemson and many trade schools. Additionally, the help system is an instructional product by itself, for example, a student can click on the tool bar and quickly see an explanation of their query. Schools are also using the program for their competition projects like Formula SAE, The Solar Car Challenge and The Super Mileage Race.
RACING
Rapid Line Software is being used in all aspects of racing, from concept to fine tuning the set-up. Performance shops can get an edge by offering their customers a high tech approach to insure the desired outcome.
